Mystery Shawl KAL
I've been going shawl crazy lately. I used Mad. tosh. light and loved how it worked up. This pattern and KAL was by Westknits on ravelry.com.

Andreas Shawl
Latest finished shawl. Pretty happy with this one. It's the most complicated knitted project that I've attempted since I decided to teach myself to knit earlier this year. Once I got going, it really wasn't that hard.

Lystra pullover progress
I'm knitting the Lystra Pullover from the book Knitting Plus. And Woo hoo, I just finished the back and have it blocking. I started on the body rather than the sleeves, because I’m going to need to make some sleeve modifications using the chart in the book. I modified the body by making it a-line. I wanted plenty of room around the hips. Of course, now I’m worried I made it too big at the bottom and too little at the top. LOL We’ll see. Since I’m a newbie, I’m using this as a learning project. I hope to have a nice basic sweater pattern adjusted to fit me when I’m done.

Finished sweater
I just finished this sweater made with Knit Picks Comfy cotton yarn. It is so comfortable, and the pattern was super easy. It's called the Weekend Pullover and is from a 2009 Crochet Today magazine.

Lion Brand KAL
I've decided to develop my knitting skills, or lack of skills. Lion Brand is holding a KAL, and I'm going to give it a go. I ordered the yarn and needles yesterday. Should be fun.

October Weekend Pullover
This is what I'm currently working on. It's called the Weekend Pullover by Ellen K. Gormley in Crochet Today, March/April '09. I'm using Knit Picks Comfy Worsted in October. It's a nice orange/rust cotton blend. So far, I'm lovin' it.
